Monthly Meeting: The Media

On 20th July 2012 from 7pm - 9pm, TREC is pleased to welcome three trans people who have taken part in TV documentaries: Lee from "Make Me a Man" and Sam and Evan from "Sam and Evan: From Girls to Men".
There are mixed opinions in the trans community about the positive and negative aspects of seeing trans people on TV and in the media. At this month's TREC, we will be interviewing three guests who have been on TV documentaries to find out what it was like for them, why they did it and to answer questions about their experience. Come along to find out what it was like and have a chance to have your say in the debate.
The meeting will be held at the Lesbian and Gay Foundation (LGF), 5 Richmond Street, Manchester. All welcome.
