“Exploring Trans History” Presentation, 13 March 2010

This presentation will trace the History of Trans from the 5th Century BC to the present day by exploring different interesting / significant events in our history without trying to be a comprehensive history of the subject. There will be time for questions and an opportunity for participants to speak about significant Trans events that have shaped their own history.

Shared Histories, Shared Futures, Film Premiere 10 April 2010
Project Description: The “Shared Histories, Shared Futures” project brings together young and older individuals from the LGB & T communities in the North West, to raise awareness of the shared (and sometimes separate) histories and to explore the individual and collective issues that these communities currently face. Group discussions have been filmed at the December and January TREC meetings, in Liverpool and in Blackpool.
The Shared Histories, Shared Futures film will make its debut at the TREC session on 10 April 2010.
