Facilitated discussion about the NHS and Trans Health
Following on from the Manchester City Council consultation day on the topic of trans health, the March TREC event will have a facilitated discussion about how we, as a group, can work towards ensuring that trans needs in health care are adequately addressed.

Sexual Health Clinic
Service Description: A team from Manchester Centre for Sexual Health run a clinic at TREC to screen for asymptomatic sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and HIV.
About Manchester Centre for Sexual Health - they provide diagnosis, treatment, counselling and advice in a new state of the art, purpose-built facility to walk-in patients from across Central Manchester. They offer appointments for patients with HIV for treatment, counselling, support and advice. A number of specialist, dedicated nurses are available to help HIV patients.

Service provided monthly at the TREC space, 12-4pm

Penny's 'Inner Beauty' Workshop: Finding your own personal style
The session is for anyone who is interested in improving or finding their own personal style in beauty, fashion, hair and clothes. It is open to all, and will include hairdressing and make-over demonstrations. A side room will act as a demonstration hairdressing and makeover studio and, within the available time, will offer free makeovers and styling. Make-up and hair styling tuition can also be given as time allows. Further sessions could include basic personal styling, individual colour choices & colour co-ordination, deportment, etc.
This workshop will be delivered quarterly.
